Hello welcome to Jontonya Stud.
My name is Joan,I live with my husband Tony, and we are based in Nuneaton Warwickshire,close to Bedworth,Hinckley,Coventry and the M6 Motorway.
I am a registered member of the B.R.C (British Rabbit Council) and local exhibitor of pure bred mini lop rabbits.
I breed for type and temprement,and as close to the standard as possible.
The welfare of my Rabbits are the first and main priority.
My rabbits are all litter trained so corners are easy to clean,as i just have to empty the litter trays.
these are emptied twice a day.And a complete clean once a week,where the hutch gets scrubbed and disinfected.
weather permitted all rabbits get a turn in the runs outside,to give them fresh air and exercise.
All my rabbits are handled on a daily basis both by my husband and myself, we handle them from the moment they are born.
My rabbits are my babies,and they all get plenty of cuddles,love and attention.
This is my hobby which i adore,and would spend all day in the shed if i could.
All my stock have come from good lines,off excellant breeders and exhibitors.
All my rabbits are fed on a high fibre diet, which is Chudleys Rabbit Royale
Also they have plenty of fresh hay daily,i also give them
small pieces of carrot and dried banana pieces.
As i have said before i breed to improve my lines,i do not breed for demand,
but from time to time i will have surplus stock for sale,either to the public as a pet rabbit or for stud stock or show.
I do not make a profit from this, as any breeder will tell you, all monies from any sale gets put back into the up keep of your rabbits.

At the moment i am concentrating on Otters,selfs,choc tortes,oranges,siamese sable,and mantles,with the aim to produce some healthy and typy show stock.
I did breed rabbits years ago but had to stop due to my husbands ill heath,
but i decided to start again,as i missed them too much.
Here at Jontonya Stud we are very friendly, and will help and give advice at any time where we can.
I showed for the first time in Dec 2011.I Won Best Pet as i hadn't rung her,and got 2nd Best Doe with my blue otter which i bred myself.
I now show under the stud name Jontonya Stud
I also showed at cov in Feb 2012 and came 2nd in the U/5 with my orange doe which was bred here.
So hopefully 2012 will be a good year for improvement.
My husband also breeds and shows exhibition budgerigars,and again as surplus stock for sale,either for pets or breeding.
they are quality birds bred from some top blood lines.
